to get over this ...    Finally took myself to the urgent care last night and had earned myself a chest xray.       I guess its hard to find the time to take care of myself sometimes ... just keep on plugging away hoping Ill wake up the next day better than the last.   But it didnt ever happen.    But I am thankful for my new prescription and a day of rest.

my dear friend, susie, is always creating the most adorable hats for me.   we sure are lucky!   here are a few of the new hats I wanted you all to see. Check out her blog to see lots lots more. 
this first one was inspired by a sweater I wore recently when we were out to dinner together.   she looked down at my sleeve, made a note to herself on a napkin and then the next day ( not kidding)  she delivered this.  




this is jaydens favorite hat.   her old ribbon hat got to small.   she got to pick out her own hat color and her own ribbon too which made her even more excited.

i love finding things that inspire me ... love finding that item that i feel was made just for me.   one of my favorite designers is  orla kiely .  i love her style and ALL of of her products.   she has amazing paper products which you can find at red stamp  (  love redstamp!!!  )  and now she carries an exclusive line of household products  at target.   i got these coffee cups yesterday.   i also got a few organization boxes that work perfect for my office.   love love love them!

my sweet little nephew was such a superstar newborn to photograph.  he was so sleepy and just let us do anything ... and we did.   we photographed for hours and had so much fun.   i was so happy to be able to capture these moments for them.   i have lots more to come but I wanted to give you a tiny sneak peek meg.

This is the second time I have gotten to photograph this little guy.   He was only 3 months last time so I was so excited to see how much he had changed.   And he has!   He's such a doll and on the MOVE!    Loved his laugh and those big blue eyes.   Here are a few of my favorites...

 I have to admit I get a bit giddy when I get to do a 6 month session.   It's my favorite!!   they sit in one  place, they have big eyes full of wonder and lots of smiles ... especially when they are as cute, happy and smiley as this little guy.   Enjoyed meeting his adorable parents too.    Here is your sneak peek ...  







 

catching up

catching up today and this weekend.  I'm recovering from a horrible sinus infection and still coughing after almost a week and half.  luckily I actually got on some antibiotics FINALLY so things at least are on the mend.   I've got lots of 365 pics to post, client sneak peeks and also my nephews newborn session!!!    My official maternity leave is soon coming to an end. :(  I have kept doing newborns and maternity the last few months  but now I will be opening up my spring/summer schedule again.    Stay tuned for more to come on that soon.
